BTS and BLACKPINK Earn Additional Nominations for 2026 MTV VMAs
BTS and BLACKPINK have secured additional nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. Both acts are in the running for Best Group, while BLACKPINK's Jennie also scored a nomination for Song of the Summer.
On September 18, MTV announced the nominees for the social categories at the 2026 Video Music Awards, with BTS and BLACKPINK both earning nods for Best Group.
In addition to the Best Group nomination, BLACKPINK member Jennie received a Song of the Summer nomination for her Tame Impala collaboration track "Dracula."
Fan voting for Best Group runs from September 21 to September 24 on MTV's Instagram Stories, prior to the live broadcast on September 27.
