EXO 엑소

SM Entertainment introduced EXO's members from late 2011 and divided the original 12-member lineup into EXO-K and EXO-M. Both units debuted with MAMA in April 2012.

The first studio album XOXO arrived in 2013 and was repackaged as Growl. The winter release Miracles in December followed that year, and Overdose became the group's next EP in 2014. Kris, Luhan and Tao later ended their group activities and are listed as former members.

EXODUS and its repackage LOVE ME RIGHT opened 2015, followed by the winter EP Sing For You. EX'ACT and LOTTO continued the studio-album sequence in 2016, while THE WAR and its Power of Music edition followed in 2017.

During this period EXO toured through the second, third and fourth editions of the EXO PLANET concert series. They also debuted in Japan with Love Me Right ~romantic universe~ in 2015.

Xiumin, Baekhyun and Chen formed EXO-CBX in 2016. Chanyeol and Sehun followed as EXO-SC in 2019. Every member has since developed work outside the full group through solo music, acting, stage productions, production or television.

EXO released the Japanese studio album COUNTDOWN in January 2018. DON'T MESS UP MY TEMPO and its LOVE SHOT edition followed later that year, with OBSESSION arriving in 2019.

As members began mandatory military service, the group concentrated on units and solo work. Lay rejoined the recording lineup for the 2021 special album DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING.

The members reunited for EXO's tenth-anniversary fan event in 2022. The studio album EXIST followed in July 2023 with the title track Cream Soda.

Members continued their individual careers through different management arrangements while remaining part of EXO. Sehun completed his service in September 2025, making him the last of the group's eight Korean members to finish mandatory service.

EXO released its eighth studio album REVERXE on January 19. The nine-track album features Suho, Lay, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun; Xiumin, Baekhyun and Chen did not participate. Crown is the title track.

Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun then carried EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon, the group's first solo tour in about six years. The Asian leg ran from April through July, and three encore shows in Seoul were announced for November.
