G-DRAGON 지드래곤

G-DRAGON released Heartbreaker, his first solo studio album, in 2009. The album was followed by the live recording Shine a Light and established his solo work alongside BIGBANG activities.

The EP One of a Kind arrived in 2012, followed by his second studio album COUP D'ETAT in 2013. He supported the releases with the One of a Kind World Tour, including Japanese dome dates.

G-DRAGON released the EP KWON JI YONG in June 2017 and toured with Act III: M.O.T.T.E. He completed South Korea's mandatory military service between 2018 and 2019.

Galaxy Corporation announced its contract with G-DRAGON in December 2023. He returned to solo music in 2024 with "POWER" and "HOME SWEET HOME", the latter featuring BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung.

His third studio album, Übermensch, was released on February 25, 2025 — his first full album since COUP D'ETAT. The Übermensch world tour opened in Goyang in March and continued internationally through the year.

At the 2025 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards, the South Korean government awarded him the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit. He was also named Artist of the Year at the 2025 MAMA Awards.
