i-dle (Korean: 아이들; stylized in lowercase), formerly known as (G)I-DLE, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment. Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua debuted on May 2, 2018 with the EP I am; their fan club is called Neverland.
The group is known for members' creative participation in its music, particularly the writing and production work of leader Soyeon. Its catalog spans Korean, Japanese and English-language releases.

2.Debut and early releases (2018–2020)
The original six-member group debuted with I am and its lead single "LATATA" in May 2018. It followed with I made, I trust and the single releases "Hann (Alone)" and "Oh my god" during its early years.
3.Five-member era (2021–2022)
Soojin departed in August 2021. The remaining five members returned with I NEVER DIE in 2022, led by "TOMBOY", and later released I love and "Nxde". The group also mounted its first world tour, Just Me ()I-DLE.
4.Global releases and touring (2023–2024)
I feel, HEAT, 2 and I SWAY expanded the group's catalog across Korean and English-language releases. In 2024, the group began its second world tour, iDOL, after releasing 2 and its lead single "Super Lady".
5.Contract renewal (2024)
Cube Entertainment confirmed in December 2024 that all five members had renewed their contracts. The group remained with the agency as a five-member act.
6.From (G)I-DLE to i-dle (2025)
On May 2, 2025, the group's seventh anniversary, Cube Entertainment announced the name i-dle. The EP We are followed on May 19, 2025, beginning the group's work under the new name.
7.Recent releases (2025–2026)
The group released We are, MY, Lover and a Japanese EP titled i-dle in 2025. In 2026, it released Mono, We made and the studio album What a Wonderful Life.
